To stop a transaction from settling with the cardholder's bank, process a void within 3 hours of the payment. After the 3-hour window, only refunds can be processed.
Voids and refunds will not post back to most integration software. Accounts may need to be manually adjusted.
- Go to Payment History > Orders.
- Locate the transaction with any pertinent information such as customer name or Order ID.
- Click the Order ID to view details.
- Void or refund the order. Portal will prompt for confirmation before executing the request.
Void will only be actionable if viewing the transaction within 3 hours of the payment.
Refunds, full and partial, can be made at any time. To issue a full refund, click the red button. To issue a partial refund, click the gray button in the Order Items section.
