Portal can return funds to the purchaser if needed. Staff with appropriate user access have the ability to process voids and refunds (both full and partial).
- Void: Stops the transaction from settling with the cardholder’s bank. Must be processed within 3 hours of the payment. Pending transactions may remain on cardholder accounts while the card issuer processes the void.
- Refund: Return funds for a given transaction to the cardholder’s account, partially or in full. Both the debit and credit will be listed on the cardholder’s card statement.
