A receipt note, or "receipt comment", is a message that displays on a transaction receipt. Receipt notes can be assigned at the item level, group level, or globally (store-wide).
These notes can be used to remind customers of key instructions, provide tax/legal information, communicate policies, etc. Notes should be succinct and informative.
Examples:
- Order Pickup – Instruct customer when and where to pick up orders.
- Schedules – Remind customer of an activity or class date and time.
- Organization Status – State tax/legal exemption type for charitable donations.
Images and hyperlinks can be included. Hyperlinks should be titled as the URL to accommodate printed copies.
