Define or follow a format to avoid redundant departments.
- Go to Inventory > Department.
- Under the Name column, change the search field's filter type to Contains. Search for a key word from the desired reporting department you wish to add.
→ If there's a similar result, determine if a new department is needed.
→ If there are no results, proceed.
- Click + NEW DEPARTMENT.
- Next to Name, enter the reporting department.
- Click UPDATE.
