This Spring, RevTrak Forms will replace Simpliforms. We understand the work that was put into getting your Simpliforms onto your Web Store and the critical data these forms collect for you.
This document details the steps to take to ensure your Web Store is ready for the transition in June, 2025.
We have taken all of your Simpliforms that were active in 2024 and generated RevTrak Forms with the same names that ask the same questions in the same order. The embedded item at the top of each RevTrak Form also has the same base price and principal Account Code as the original Simpliform. This was done to make transitioning your Web Store as smooth an experience as possible.
In some instances, if your Simpliform asked questions that adjusted the price or account code in the body of the Simpliform, or managed Quantity in Stock, additional steps will need to be taken to prepare the corresponding RevTrak Form for active use.
This article will detail the steps required to prepare your RevTrak Forms and Web Store for activity past June, 2025.
- Determine which Simpliforms you must migrate. If your Simpliform is scheduled to stop accepting submissions prior to June 30, 2025, you can take no action for that particular form. Continue accepting submissions as normal.
- If your Simpliform is scheduled to accept submissions in July 2025 or beyond, you should work to prepare the corresponding RevTrak Form for submissions.
- In the RevTrak Portal, click Form Builder. The RevTrak Form Builder defaults to only show Active Forms. Your automatically generated new RevTrak Forms are currently set to Archived. Clear the Active Status Filter on the top-right to see your Archived Forms. Search for RevTrak Forms by Form Name. Notice the current start and end dates. These are both the day the RevTrak Form was inserted into your Portal. You'll be able to edit them. Also notice the current Status, which begins as Archived. You'll be able to change this. Click the Form Settings Button (gear icon).
- In the Form Settings Pane, set the Group you want your RevTrak Form to appear in for your customers. This is the same Group the Simpliforms item with the same name is in. Next, set up new visibility dates. Select July 1, 2025 as a Visible From date if you want the RevTrak Form to take over automatically the same time the Simpliform stops accepting new submissions. Select a Visible Until date to determine when you want your new RevTrak Form to stop accepting new submissions. If no Visible Until date is selected, the new RevTrak Form will accept submissions indefinitely. If your Simpliform had a question tied to a contact list that barred access to completing the Simpliform, you'll select a Responder List on this pane. If no Responder List is selected, anyone can generate a submission to your new RevTrak Form. When you are satisfied with these settings, click Update. Then, click Open Form Builder.
- If your Simpliform delivered automated reports to your staff via email, click Settings. Click Submission Report. Follow our article regarding Automated Reporting in RevTrak Forms.
- If your Simpliform did not adjust its price or Account Code in the body of the Simpliform, or if it did not manage Quantity in Stock, you are done!
- If your Simpliform did adjust its price or Account Code in the body of the Simpliform, or did manage Quantity in Stock, click Designer. Scroll down the Form Builder until you reach a RevTrak Inventory Element with no SKU designated.
- Locate the corresponding live Simpliform on your Web Store. Scroll to the same spot in the Simpliform you determined in your RevTrak Form. What was that Question doing? Create a Corresponding RevTrak Inventory Item to adjust the price or Account Code, or manage Quantity in Stock. If Quantity in Stock is involved, we recommend turning the Simpliform off now and turning the RevTrak Form on now to avoid over-selling stock prior to July 1, 2025.
- Once you have created new RevTrak Items, insert them into the empty RevTrak Inventory Elements in your RevTrak Form.
- Once all of your RevTrak Inventory Elements have new SKUs inserted, click Publish. You are done!
