Why ClassLink?
Vanco’s RevTrak Web Store and ClassLink have partnered to offer Single Sign-On (SSO) to our shared customers. ClassLink and RevTrak users will be able to utilize the ClassLink LaunchPad, an SSO solution built for education to access the RevTrak admin portal.
Initial Setup
Setup your Web Store to Accept ClassLink SSO
- Contact RevTrak customer support at service@revtrak.com or 888-847-9885 and provide your ClassLink Tenant ID
- Your school system's ClassLink Tenant ID is available along the top of the ClassLink Management Console (CMC) screen
Setup Vanco's RevTrak Web Store in Your ClassLink LaunchPad
- Before you can deploy an application to students and staff in your school system, you'll need to add and assign the app in the ClassLink Management Console (CMC) to the appropriate people and groups.
- Login to the ClassLink Management Console (CMC)
1) Click 'Applications'
2) Select 'Add & Assign Apps,' then click 'App Library.' Find the Vanco RevTrak application and 'Add.'
3) Then assign the application to specific users in your school and/or district
- In the CMC, click 'Applications'
- Select 'Add & Assign Apps'
- Click the 'Assign' button
4) Then click the 'Add' button for your desired profile(s), group(s), or user(s), being sure to point to the connected Active Directory (AD), Azure, or Google domain.
Administrator SSO Login User Flow
- Navigate to your school’s ClassLink login page
- Browser: You can locate your school’s ClassLink login page by visiting your school’s webpage or by going to https://launchpad.ClassLink.com and entering your school system’s name in the search bar.
- Mobile App: ClassLink offers applications for both iOS and Android
- Install app if not already on device
- Search for your institution by allowing location services, using the search bar, or scrolling
- Select your institution
- Enter credentials
- ClassLink offers custom options for logging in and you can use the options available to you
- Select the Vanco RevTrak application from the My Apps homepage in your ClassLink LaunchPad
- Note: If the Vanco RevTrak application does not appear, please check with your school or district administrator, as they may not have completed the process to complete the initial setup with Vanco RevTrak and ClassLink.
- Note: For SSO to work, users must have an existing RevTrak account. If you do not, contact your district or school’s Vanco RevTrak administrator to follow the process to create an account.
- First time SSO users: You will be asked to login to your RevTrak account to connect your ClassLink and RevTrak accounts
- Returning users: You will go directly to your RevTrak admin portal
- Users who have access to multiple portals will be asked to select which portal they would like to access
Disabling ClassLink to RevTrak SSO
To disable the SSO feature, utilize the ClassLink Management Console (CMC) and remove the app from your ClassLink LaunchPad.
Employee Access Management
Note that disabling an individual employee’s access to ClassLink LaunchPad, will not remove their ability to use their Vanco RevTrak username and password directly in Vanco RevTrak. Please remember to manage access in both software solutions.
