This policy governs the purchase of card readers from RevTrak, Inc. (the Company).
Description
Clients may purchase card readers. If a client purchases a card reader, the Company will charge the client in accordance with the attached addendum, billed as a one-time fee on the client statement. The card reader rates may change from time to time at the Company's discretion.
New card readers purchased shall include a one year warranty, and the Company shall send a replacement card reader at no charge to the client should the card reader malfunction while under warranty.
The warranty is effective for the first year that the card reader is in the client's possession.
Should a client purchase a reader that has been rented and/ or has been in their possession for more than one year, the reader shall be purchased 'as is' and no further warranty will be provided.
The Company will ship the card reader(s) to the client free of charge as long as the Company has received a minimum notice of 1 week. A delivery date cannot be guaranteed for requests with less than 1-week notice. Alternatively, the Company may ship the card reader(s) on an expedited basis; however, any charges for premium or express shipping shall be borne solely by the client and billed as a separate line on the client's statement.
Technical Services shall track the card readers including location, serial number, ship date.
